This shall be the last part of ‘Path to Freedom’ that I can share with you.
The formula is simple:
Time Freedom -> Geographical Freedom -> Financial Freedom
First get your time freedom, then it is optional whether you would want your geographical freedom first or your financial freedom first.
Why geographical freedom?
To me, it’s because I can monitor my businesses anywhere in the world.
One of the best job you may be looking at would be something that you can monitor and manage remotely (运筹帷幄，决战千里)。
Another important part to get your freedom is, always try to find a part time business, NOT a part time job.
(A job is something you sell your time in exchange for money, the amount of money you receive at the end of the day is proportional to the amount of time you are able to “sell off”)
Of course, the categories of money is also important:
1. Money for survival
2. Money for indulgences
3. Money for freedom
Always make sure money for survival is enough in the first place. It is ok to look for jobs when surviving matters. (Chinese proverbs say, “if your horse die, then walk”….. 马死落地行)
Besides, if you were promised a million dollar by next month and you can’t even survive till then, what’s the million dollar really is ?
So, it is a step by step process and it does take time.
No get rich quick things. No free lunch.
